Where do you get your links for news?

99% of our news links come from label/artist management company submitted emails or news plucked from Twitter.

Why do you only link news instead of posting the stories?

Most of these stories are widely circulated around the web. Our goal is to make it easier for the reader to get the point of these stories/news items without all the advertising and other fluff that comes along with most news posts/press releases/mailing lists.

How do you choose what kind of news to link to?

Really the main things we look for in news links is informational. In other words, we're more likely to link up news that deals with a new record coming out, tour dates, label signings, new videos, etc. We are not intentionally linking to sales, ads or anything else labels, bands, magazines or whomever is promoting as *advertised news*.

Can I write for you?

Who are you?

I'm Ben, I'm a music geek, who is very opinionated about music in all its wonderful forms. I'm a former journalist, who backed away from my newspaper job so that I could spend more time with my family. I also used to write for riftrock.com, a site that offered many of the same things I do on SD.com.
